I am director, Katie Elle Jackson, and I am so excited to help you discover your true voice and develop a love of music and performing!
Whether you are a beginner or a pro, I am here to equip you with the right tools to help you achieve your goals. With proper, healthy vocal technique, an understanding of stagecraft and performance skills, and useful mindset exercises to help combat even the worst of nerves, you too can be singing your heart out like a star!
holistic approach to voice Lessons
VOCAL TECHNIQUE
Lessons are individually tailored to support healthy, sustainable vocal technique, grounded in a deep understanding of anatomy and evidence-based pedagogy. We focus on breath, alignment, tone, range, stamina, and stylistic control, with clear explanations so students understand how and why their voice works. You’ll be supported and challenged with weekly goals, targeted exercises, and regular written and verbal feedback to help you take ownership of your instrument.
MUSICALITY
Musicality is developed through a strong focus on musicianship, interpretation, rhythm, phrasing, and stylistic authenticity across a wide range of genres. Whether working towards auditions, exams, performances, recordings, or simply singing for joy, lessons encourage curiosity, emotional connection, and confident storytelling. Students are guided to make informed musical choices that serve both the song and their individual voice.
STAGECRAFT
Drawing on extensive professional experience in theatre, live performance, and the music industry, stagecraft is approached as an essential part of vocal training. We work on presence, confidence, communication, and performance psychology, helping singers connect authentically with an audience. From auditions and exams to live gigs and karaoke nights, students are equipped with practical tools to perform with clarity, confidence, and impact.
